This was unusual shoot to say the least. I’ve shot pre wedding portraits, family outings and babies but I’ve never done a, hmm, pre-enlistment protrait.

I’ve shot many couples but none as young as these two, and this was somewhat refreshing. There’s just something about young love that warms the heart and makes the older ones envious.

It was a morning that belonged to an unadulterated pair of hearts filled with an innocence so divine.

I did this shoot because it’s a little out of the box as most people would expect to see an older set of subjects being pictured in love.

But hey, love doesn’t discriminate, and neither should I. No?

So these days I’ve traded pictures for words but there’s no denying how much I miss getting behind the lens.

Nancy was the prom queen when we were back in school. These days, she’s queen bee to a duo of gorgeous boys.

Crap, I’m getting old.

Red Bull Rookies

Emmiline and Melissa were the two finalists for the Red Bull Rookies, an all-female racing team. Emmiline is a chemistry major and Melissa is a nurse. A most unlikely duo makes for interesting pictures and stories.
